PROVINCES,(ST)_At least 81 ISIS terrorists have been killed in Der Ezzour and Hassaka during operations carried out by Syrian army in several areas, military sources reported Wednesday.
The sources declared that 11 terrorists affiliated to the ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] were killed in Hwejet Sakr area in Der Ezzour when Syrian army targeted their groupings there.
A Jordanian terrorist, dubbed Abo Abdel Rahman Baker, and an Egyptian one, his name, Adham Mohammad Ali, were among the terrorists killed in the said area.
Further terrorists belonging to the same organization [ISIS] were eliminated and three cannons plus nine cars were destroyed south-west and south-east Der Ezzour airbase.
In Hassaka countryside, Syrian army killed over 70 ISIS terrorists in a qualitative operation in Tal al-Qasayeb and Tal Ghazal areas, about 45 km south Qameshli, a day after it warded off ISIS attack on Tal Ghazal area.
Concentrated operations in Homs
There were also concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in al-Waer quarter in Homs city and in towns of Rasm al-qasr, al-Mazbal, al-Seltaneyeh, in the eastern Homs countryside as well as in Beit Khattab, al-Msherfeh, Tal Abo al-Salasel, Ein Hsin, in the northeastern countryside of the same province [Homs].
The operations ended in killing and injuring many terrorists.
Meanwhile, the official news agency (SANA) said that army units targeted terrorist hideouts in the eastern and western countryside of Daraa where many terrorist ringleaders were killed.
It added that other terrorist hideouts in towns of al-Hamedeyeh, al-Mozra, Hmimat al-Dayer, Kwerin, al-Sheger and al-Rameh in Idlib countryside were struck by army units.
While the Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper said that 80% of al-Kastillo road in northern Aleppo province became under army’s crossfire amid continuity of operations on the outskirts of Hosh al-Fara farms in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.
ISIS takes Jordanian pilot captive
On the other hand, the ISIS took a Jordanian pilot –from the U.S. –led coalition- captive after his warplane came down over Raqqa, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.
The TV channel confirmed the death of the Leader of ISIS operations in Ayn al-Arab, dubbed Abo Mos’ab al-Remali of Saudi nationality, during clashes with the Kurdish people’s protection units.
