Syrian Arab Army Kills over 49 Terrorists in Hama, Thwarts terrorists’ Attacks on Several Areas in Aleppo
PROVINCES,(ST)_A car carrying hidden missiles and shells for terrorists has been seized in Hama city, as army units ward off terrorists’ attacks on several areas in northern Aleppo province and strike terrorist groupings outside Homs, Idleb and Daraa provinces.
According to the official news agency (SANA), the missiles and shells were hidden inside vegetables and fruits in Kia Rio car that was seized today by the competent authorities in Hama city.
There were also explosives and shields inside the seized car.
At the same time, over 49 terrorists were killed and many others injured when the army units targeted two hideouts for terrorists in Morek town and Sher Mghar [well known as Jabal Shaheshpo] in the northwestern countryside of Hama province.
A military source declared that the army units also targeted several terrorists’ hideouts in Morek city where many terrorists died.
More terrorists were crushed as the army units shelled hideouts for terrorists outside Idleb , Daraa and Homs.
The terrorists killed in Sida town in the eastern countryside of Daraa province belong to the so-called Nahhal battalion.
In another development, the army units warded off terrorists’ attacks on al-Maytam building in al-Layramon and al-Zahraa Association in Aleppo city as well as on Azizih town and the surrounding of the air defense battalion in Ezan outside Aleppo province.
Munitions depot destroyed
“A large number of terrorists was killed in the confrontations,” a military source confirmed, adding that the army units destroyed a munitions depot in Karm al-Mayser and struck terrorist groupings in Kweris, Mare’a, al-Awejeh, al-Meselmeyeh and old city of Aleppo.
Several cars for terrorists were also wiped out by the army units in Khan al-Asal, Ard al-Na’anaee and Daret Ezzeh, according to the source.
Some 60 French snipers in al-Mliha
As for the ongoing battle in Jobar quarter near Damascus, the agency reported that 12 terrorists from al-Nusra Front, mostly non-Syrians, were eliminated today.
The agency added that the army units are inching closer to cordon off al-Mliha town in the Eastern Ghouta, clarifying that extremist and Takfiri groups-mostly from al-Nusra Front- alongside 60 French snipers are fighting in al-Mliha town.
So far, the army units imposed control over the main road linking Jesrin and al-Mliha and another road linking al-Mliha-Zebdin .
Some 70 days have passed since the beginning of the large-scale military operation there.
