Syrian Arab army kills more than 48 terrorists outside Idlib and Homs, intensifies strikes on al-Nusra Front outside Quneitra

PROVINCES,(ST)_At least 48 terrorists were eliminated Thursday during military operations outside Idlib and Homs , according to military sources.

The sources said that army units killed 24 terrorists, including Saudi and Palestinian, and destroyed 4 vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns belonging to them on the outskirts of Batenti town, about 30km north Idlib city.

Terrorists linked to the so-called the ‘Ahrar al-Shan’, the ‘Islamic Front’ and the ‘Syria Revolutionaries Front ‘ spread in the said area.

More nine terrorist were killed in Ariha area outside Idlib by army units.

In addition, army units pounded a hideout of al-Nusra Front leaders during a qualitative operation near Kansafra area in Jabal al-Zaweyeh, around 25km south Idib city.

Tunisian, Libyan ringleaders killed

Many terrorists leaders, most of them of Tunisian and Libyan nationals, were eliminated in the operation that synchronized with obliterating terrorist hideouts in Hmimat al-Dayer, a-Mjas and Abo Duhur towns and on the outskirts of a-Nairab town in the same province [Idlib].

Attack on al-Holeh national hospital

In central Homs province, army units killed 15 terrorists, including the leader of snipers and a ringleader, in Talbiseh city, and clashed with terrorists trying to attack the national hospital in al-Holeh, about 27km north-west Homs city.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the clashes, the official news agency (SANA) said, adding that army units targeted ISIS hideouts in Rhom and Rajm al-Qaser towns in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Other hideouts of terrorists organizations in several areas outside Daraa and Quneitra were struck by army units.

A military source declared that army units carried out intensified strikes against al-Nusra Front hideouts in Sida al-Jolan, which lies 12km far away from Quneitra city.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the strikes.
