Syrian Arab army kills many foreign mercenaries on several fronts—some 41 gunmen surrender

PROVINCES,(ST)_Dozens of terrorists, mostly of Arab and foreign nationalities, have been killed in today’s military operations in several areas outside Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, Daraa and Idleb provinces, the official news agency said.

The agency clarified that the army units carried out a series of operations against terrorist groupings on axis of Der al-Asafir-Zebdin – al-Gheda bridge and on the outskirts of Mliha town in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus as well as to the east of al-Dmeir area and in the eastern mountains of al-Zabadani.

The operations synchronized with clashes between an army unit and an armed terrorist group to the east of Jobar quarter near Damascus and on several axes in Darayya city in the western countryside of Damascus.

The confrontation resulted in mowing down an unknown number of terrorists.

Army advances in Aleppo’s Seif al-Dawleh quarter

In another development, the army units moved forwards in Seif al-Dawleh quarter in Aleppo province and recaptured several buildings there after eliminating many terrorists.

More terrorist died when the army units targeted their groupings and hideouts in al-Layramon, al-Rashedeyeh, al-Artiq, al-Atareb, Khan al-Asal, Tal N’am, Hweja, Jeb al-Safa, Ghabsha, Tal al-Tabl in the same province [Aleppo] and in several areas outside Daraa, Homs and Idleb provinces.

While in Hama province, the army units killed at least 20 terrorists in Morek town.

On the other hand, the competent authorities regularized situations of 41 gunmen from Ma’aloula and Jab’adin towns outside Damascus under reconciliation process.
