Syrian Arab army kills large numbers of terrorists outside Aleppo and Idlib

PROVINCES,(ST)_Large numbers of terrorists have been eliminated in today’s operations in and outside Aleppo province and outside Idlib, Homs, Daraa, Hassaka, Quneitra and Damascus provinces, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency reported today that the army units targeted terrorist groupings and their hideouts in al-Rastan and al-Za’afaranef town in Homs countryside and in Hanano, Terkman, al-Hader, Bab al-Hadid, al-Jazmati, al-Salehin, Dabeq, al-Sakhour, al-Mansoura and Salaheddin surrounding in northern Aleppo province as well as in M’ardabeh, Khan al-Sabel, Harsh Msebin, Abo al-Dohor, Kafr Najd, Jesr al-Shoghour and surrounding of central prison in northwestern Idlib province.

Other terrorist groupings in Daraa al-Balad, Nawa, Inkhel, Tsil and al-Shomra in southern Daraa province and in quarters of al-Erfi and al-Hweqa, in Der Ezzour province and in al-Shdadi town in northeastern Hassaka province were also struck by the army units today.

Large numbers of terrorists, some of them non-Syrians, were killed and injured in the said areas.

Truck bomb destroyed

A truck bomb plus Pick-Up car equipped with heavy machinegun were destroyed when the army units targeted terrorist groupings on the outskirts of Sermaneyeh and Jdedeh towns in Jesr al-Shogour in Idlib countryside, a military source declared.

Three other Pick-Up cars equipped with heavy machineguns and observation center in the surrounding of Idlib central prison and several cars on Yadodeh-Khrab Shahm outside Daraa province and on Beit Saber road in Quneitra countryside were wiped out.

Infiltration bid into Drosha outside Damascus

On the other hand, the army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempts from Jesr al-Khrab [Khrab bridge] into al-Waer orchard outside Homs and into a garrison in Drosha area outside Damascus.
