Syrian Arab army kills large numbers of terrorists in Daraa al-Balad, targets ISIS on outskirts of Shaer gas field in Homs

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military sources declared Monday that army units carried out concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in Jabal al-Ken north Homs city and eliminated large numbers of terrorists in Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraa province.

The sources clarified that many terrorist were killed and injured during concentrated operations carried out by army units in Jabal al-Ken, which lies 24km north Homs city.

The operations synchronized with eliminating many terrorists affiliated to the ISIS [Its Arabic acronym is Daesh] on the outskirts of Jazal oil field and al-Shaer gas field in the eastern countryside of Damascus.

The Daesh organization loots oil from the Syrian wells and sell it in world markets via Turkish brokers despite the U.N. resolutions that prevent dealing with terrorist organizations.

In southern Daraa province, army units killed large numbers of terrorists and destroyed several vehicles belonging to them in al-Mansheyeh quarter in Daraa al-Balad.  

Last night, Syrian warplanes carried out strikes on armed groups’ targets on the outskirts of al-Zabadani town in the western countryside of Damascus and in Der al-Asafir town in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus, according to the Damascus al-Watan newspaper.

The paper indicated that as many as 40 gunmen linked to the ‘Omma army’, who were arrested by the ‘Islam army’, escaped from the ‘al-Tawbeeh prison’.
