Syrian Arab army kills dozens of terrorists outside Lattakia, foils infiltration bids into safe areas outside Homs
PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed dozens of terrorists in the northern countryside of lattakia and warded off terrorists’ infiltration bids into Em Jame’a town outside Homs, media sources reported Wednesday.
The Alikhbaria Syria TV channel said army units targeted terrorist organizations’ sites in towns of al-Soda and al-Foronloq in Lattakia countryside, killing dozens of terrorists and destroying several weapons-laden cars plus two cars equipped with 23mm machineguns belonging to them.
It quoted a military source as citing that army units killed many terrorists in Daraa al-Balad and al-Sora and al-Hrak towns in southern Daraa province.
In the same province, Al-Nusra Front killed several leaders in the ‘Free army’ after abducting them, Alikhbaria Syria said.
Meanwhile, the official news agency (SANA) reported that army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration bids from Rajm al-Qaser town into Em Jame’a town in Homs countryside a day after they killed terrorists that tried to infiltrate from Ein Hsin town into safe areas in Ein al-Dananir town.
The agency confirmed continuity of operations against terrorist organizations in al-Waer quarter in Homs city and the eastern countryside of Homs where many terrorists were killed and injured.
Terrorist organizations announced through social media the death of a field commander in the ‘al-Iman Bellah’ brigades, dubbed Abo Wael al-Homsi, in Talbeseh area in the northern countryside of Homs.
Clashes on outskirts of Nobul and al-Zahraa
In Aleppo countryside, popular defense groups in Nobul and al-Zahraa towns warded off gunmen’ infiltration bid at Beit Nasr area, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.
Last night, army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid into Aleppo citadel and al-Sabe’a Bahrat area, the Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper said.
The paper referred to fierce fighting erupted between army units and terrorists on Jobar frontline near Damascus.
