Syrian Arab army kills dozens of terrorists near Syrian-Lebanese border, inflicts big losses upon terrorists in Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army killed on Tuesday dozens of terrorists near Syrian-Lebanese border and escalated strikes against terrorist organizations in Aleppo, media sources reported.

The sources clarified that an army unit carried out a qualitative operation against terrorist groupings in Wadi al-Samarmar, which lies about 40 km from Homs city near the Syrian-Lebanese border, and killed dozens of terrorists.

Another army unit and popular defense groups clashed with terrorists in al-Waer orchards west Homs city amid continuity of pursuing the ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Homs.

The clashes synchronized with a series of operations carried out by Syrian army against terrorist organizations holed up in Khatmalo and Khattab towns in al-Makhram area, about 43km east Homs.

The operations resulted in eliminating many terrorists and destroying big quantity of weapons and munitions  belonging to them.

Media reports confirm that terrorists, most of them mercenaries of foreign nationals affiliated to al-Nusra Front  and supported by the Lebanese ‘Future bloc’  and some regional regimes, infiltrate from areas adjacent to Lebanon into Homs countryside and al-Qalamoun area  to perpetrate crimes against Syrians.   

In another development, Syrian army escalated strikes against terrorist groupings west al-Nairab in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo and in Khan Tuman, about 10km south-west Aleppo city, as well as in Jabal Sam’an.

A military source confirmed the death of many terrorists in the strikes, adding that more terrorists were killed and injured in quarters of al-Rashedin, old city of Aleppo, al-Ashrafeyeh, Qaterji, al-Azameyeh and al-Layramon.

In Idlib countryside, Syrian army mowed down many terrorists in al-Janodeyeh and on the outskirts of AbuDuhur and al-Rami.
