Syrian Arab army kills 2 terrorist leaders in Quneitra, wards off attacks on military posts in Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed a ringleader in the ‘Syrian Revolutionaries Front’ in Quneitra countryside and has warded off terrorists’ attacks on several military posts outside Daraa, military sources declared Tuesday.

The ringleader in the ‘Syrian Revolutionaries Front’, Mohammad al-Q’eri, plus the leader of  the ‘ Shohada’a al-Harra’ battalion [martyrs of al-Harra battalion], Sebhi Allosh, were among terrorists killed when Syrian army targeted their groupings on the outskirts of Tal Krom jaba and Tal al-Bzaq in Quneitra countryside.

Further terrorists were eliminated in unrelenting operations against terrorist outposts in southern Daraa province.

The official news agency (SANA) quoted a military source as citing that army units carried out concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in Daraa al-Balad, al-Sora, al-Hrak and Mlihet al-Atash towns and warded off terrorists’ attacks on military posts on the outskirts of Athman, al-Sheikh Meskin and Namer towns.

It added that a rocket launcher and a cannon belonging to terrorists were wiped out in a qualitative operation conducted by army units in Ibta’a town.

Other qualitative operations were carried out against terrorist hideouts in Kafr Zetta, Hasraya, al-Latamneh, Jana al-Albawi and Abo Remal towns in Hama countryside.

7 terrorists killed  

As many as 7 terrorists were killed and 23 others wounded and 3 vehicles were destroyed in Jana al-Albawi town, a military source declared.

Add to that, Syrian army killed dozens of terrorists in several areas outside Homs, Idlib and Hassaka and warded off a terrorist group’s infiltration bid into al-Sweqa area in the old city of Aleppo.

The Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Syrian army and the Kurdish units recaptured Tal Ahmad town south Qameshli after clashes with the ISIS.
