Syrian Arab army intensifies operations against terrorists supply routes in Aleppo, redeploys in town near Der Ezzour airbase

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has intensified operations against terrorists’ supply routes in the northern countryside of Aleppo and has inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in Der Ezzour, media sources reported Friday.

The sources clarified that Syrian army intensified operations against terrorist organizations in towns of Byanon, Kfin and Hritan in the northern countryside of Aleppo where many terrorists were killed and injured.

The said towns are supply routes used by the Erdogan regime-backed terrorists that attack civilians in Aleppo city and impose siege on Nubul and al-Zahra towns for more than two years.

In the same province [Aleppo], Syrian army killed all members of a terrorist group in al-Nairab area, about 10km south-east Aleppo city, and carried out fresh concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in quarters of Salaheddin, al-rashedin al-Rabe’a, al-layramon and Bani Zied in the city.

The operations resulted in eliminating many terrorists.

More terrorists were killed and injured in Rhom town in the eastern countryside of Homs and in Snedeh town in the southern countryside of Hama.

Infiltration bid in Idlib

Meanwhile, Syrian army warded terrorists’ infiltration bid from Nahleh town into al-Bayyada land in Idlib countryside and struck terrorist groupings in Jesr al-Shogur, which lies about 47 km south-west Idlib.

The strikes coincided with redeployment of Syrian army in Hwejet al-Mre’eyeh town, which is located near Der Ezzour airbase.

Syrian army inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS in the said town , according to Beirut-based al-Mayadeen V channel.   

The TV channel indicated that clashes erupted between the ISIS and the al-Nusra Front and other armed groups in Jorod al-Qalamoun outside Damascus.
