PROVINCES,(ST)_ Syrian Warplanes have carried out airstrikes against terrorist organizations near Damascus and outside Quneitra and Aleppo, according to media sources.
The sources said that Syrian warplanes struck today terrorist organizations in Jobar quarter near Damascus and in Duma city and Erbin town outside Damascus as well as in Maskhara and Ein al-Sakher outside Quneitra where dozens of terrorists were killed and injured.
One of the airstrikes hit a hideout for terrorist ringleaders belonging to the so-called the ‘Islam Army’ in Duma city.
Syrian army is advancing into Jobar quarter, Duma city and Ein Tarma outside Damascus, as it continues targeting al-Nusra Front sites in Erbin town in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.
Spy plane shot down
Leader of armed terrorist groups’ military operations center in al-Dekhaneyeh area, Abdulmajed al-Sayed Ali, was killed in clashes with Syrian army in Ein Tarma in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus amid eruption of quarrels among terrorists from the ‘Islam Army’ and the ‘State of the Iraq and the Levant’ [terror organization known as Daesh in Arabic and as IS or ISIL or ISIS in foreign media reports]]in al-Hajar al-Aswad quarter south Damascus.
In Aleppo province, Syrian army shot down a spy plane for gunmen coming towards al-Adnaneyeh town in southern countryside of Aleppo, the Beirut-based al-Mayadden TV channel reported.
The TV channel added that Syrian warplanes hit sites for the Daesh[IS]on the outskirts of Kweris airbase in eastern countryside of Aleppo and recaptured al-Rashedin quarter west Aleppo a day after it warded off gunmen’s attacks on the same quarter.
“The terrorists were inflicted heavy losses in Aleppo,” al-Mayadden stressed.
On the other hand, clashes flared up between al-Nusra Front and the so-called ‘Shohada’a Badr’ Brigade near al-Kastillo checkpoint on a road linking Aleppo and its northern countryside.
There were also military operations against terrorist organizations outside Lattakia, Homs, Idlib and Daraa.
The official news agency (SANA) reported that Tunisian, Palestinian and Lebanese mercenaries were among terrorists killed in northern countryside of Lattakia.
Several cars loaded with weapons plus hideouts for terrorists were destroyed by Syrian army in Dwerin, Salma, al-Dwerka and Berj al-Hayat towns in northern countryside of Lattakia, a military source told SANA reporter.
The source confirmed that Syrian army foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid in Jabal Zahyeh and Mahmeyet al-Forolloq in the same province [Lattakia countryside].
Fighting resumed in Ayn al-Arab
Concerning developments in Ayn Arab city [known as Kobani in Kurdish] north Syria, media sources said fighting resumed between the terror organization Daesh [IS] and the Kurdish people’s protection units after few hours of calm during which the Daesh brought in more reinforcements and fighters from Raqqa and Aleppo to the city of Ayn al-Arab to recapture it.
Two car bombs exploded in al-Sena’a and Botan quarters east and south Ayn al-Arab city, the sources said.
