PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces have taken control of three strategic sites in al-Qsir countryside in the central province and confront foreign-backed terrorist groups’ attacks on military positions in northern and southern provinces.
In details, a military source stated that security has been restored to towns of the western al-Dmeneh, Esh al-Warwar, and al-Haydareya in al-Qsir countryside after eliminating all terrorist groups there in a fighting lasted for three hours.
These towns are strategic sites as they had been used to supply armed terrorist groups inside al-Qsir city with arms.
In Homs city, units of armed forces inflicted heavy losses upon armed terrorist groups in al-Khaledeyeh, Wadi al-Sayeh, and al-Qarabis alleys and killed unknown number of terrorists.
Other terrorists were reportedly eliminated in Em Jrin village, south Abo al-Dohor military airport outside Idleb province, to the north-west of the country.
In addition, units of armed forces confronted terrorist groups’ attacks on Abo al-Dohor airport, Youths camp, and backed bricks factory. All terrorists were killed and their weapons were destroyed.
Clashes in Aleppo
The foreign-backed terrorists were also inflicted heavy losses in al-Msallameyeh town in the northern Aleppo province where three mortars and rocket launcher were destroyed by the armed forces.
The same province saw clashes broke out between units of armed forces and terrorists in Bestan al-Qaser, Sheikh Maqsod and al-Layramon areas resulted in killing and injuring a lot of terrorist, according to SANA.
Syrian-Jordanian border
Meanwhile, the armed forces confronted an armed terrorist group when it tried to attack a military post outside the southern Daraa province amid reports of pounding terrorists’ hideouts in Seson, al-Shapraq, Jamleh, al-Naf’a, Sahem al-Golan, al-Shajarah, and Kawyeh villages.
The Syrian TV channel aired a report on the Syrian-Jordanian border, stressing that the Syrian Arab army impose full control over the border including Nasib crossing point.
3 non-Syrian terrorists killed
In Lattakia countryside, a field hospital and several al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists’ hideouts were shelled in Salma, Beit Hlebeyeh and al-Tefaheyeh villages.
A Saudi, Libyan and Egyptian terrorists were killed inside the hideouts.
In Hama city, an explosive device detonated when a terrorist was planting it in al-Qosor alley causing his death.
