Syrian Arab army hits ISIL training camp in Raqqa, conducts operations in Quneitra countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian Army has carried out a series of concentrated operations in southern countryside of Quneitra, hit ISIL training camp in Raqqa and clashed with terrorists in the heart of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.

According to the official news agency (SANA), the concentrated operations in southern countryside of Quneitra resulted in killing many terrorists and destroying their weapons, hideouts and vehicles.

A military source declared that a truck and tractor loaded with weapons and munitions for terrorists were destroyed by the army units on the outskirts of Kammoneh town.

Terrorists inside the truck and the tractor died, the source added.

The agency’s reporter said that the army units inflicted heavy losses upon the Israel-backed terrorists in the southern countryside of Quneitra. 

Meanwhile, the army units targeted a training camp for the ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ ISIL ( former name of the IS) and wiped out arms caches in several areas in northeasternRaqqa province.

Many ISIL-linked terrorists were killed and injured there.

Several hideouts for the ISIL-linked terrorists in quarters of al-Reshdeyeh, al-Ardi and al-Hweqa in Der Ezzour province were struck by the army units.

Other terrorists’ hideouts in many areas outside Homs and in Aleppo and Daraa provinces were targeted today by the army units.

Clashes in the heart of Eastern Ghouta

In Damascus countryside, the army units clashed with terrorists east of Tabbakh farms and in Zebdin and Der al-Asafir towns in the heart of the Eastern Ghouta and shelled terrorist groupings in Khan al-Sheih and western farms of al-Hseneyeh in southwestern countryside of Damascus.

The clashes in the Eastern Ghouta coincided with the army’s advance into Jobar quarter- near Damascus- from northern and southern sides and a qualitative operation against terrorists in WadiEinTarma.

Saudi and Sudanese terrorists were among thosekilled in Jobar quarter, a military source said.
