Syrian Arab army foils bid to break siege on armed terrorist groups in Mliha town, continues operations in several frontlines
PROVINCES,(ST)_Over the past two days, the army units have foiled an attempt to lift siege imposed on armed terrorist groups inMliha town in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, destroyed vehicles for terrorists in Aleppo province and targeted terrorist groups outside Homs, Hama,Daraa,Quneitra and Lattakia provinces.
According to the official news agency (SANA), the army units mowed down yesterday many terrorists near matchstick factory and Tamico factory in Mliha town during their attempt to lift the siege imposed on the armed terrorist groups in the town, located in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.
The agency added that other terrorists belonging to the so-called the ‘Islamic Front’ were crushed in a concentrated operation in Adra area outside Damascus.
It confirmed the death of large numbers of terrorists in and outside Aleppo province.
Several terrorists’ vehicles destroyed
More terrorists were killed today when the army units targeted terrorist groupings in DeirHader, al-Sheikh Letfi, KromAzezeh, al-Jazmati, al-Hader, al-Malah farms and the old city of Aleppo in and outside Aleppo province and in several areas in Homs countryside.
A military source declared that several vehicles for terrorists were wiped out in al-Maysar, BaniZeid and al-Rashedin areas in Aleppo countryside.
In southern Daraa province, the army units targeted terrorist groups in Tallet al-Th’aleh, al-Yadodeh, Jbeb, Be’ar al-Balkhi, Othman and al-Abbaseyeh quarter where many terrorists were killed and injured.
Elsewhere, the army units eliminated terrorists in al-Qahtaneyeh town outside Quneitra and in Jabal al-Nobeh, Ketf al-Remman and al-Zwek area in the northern countryside of Lattakia as well as in towns of Khattab, al-Tamneh, Kafr Zeta, Zor Abo Zied, Zor al-Tebeh, ZorBalhsin and Kherjet al-Hjameh in Hama countryside.
The operations in al-Qalamon area on the Syrian-Lebanese border and in Duma and al-Zabadani areas outside Damascus have continued.
