Syrian Arab Army eliminates terrorists gatherings throughout the country
Provinces, (ST)-Units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in eastern Gouta and the southern countryside of Damascus, killing and injuring several terrorists, including the leader of the so-called “Mujahdi al-Sham Battalion” affiliated to “al-Islam Brigade” and destroying their weapons.
An official source told SANA that the army units clashed with armed terrorist groups along al-Manasher and Barlaman in Joubar, killing and injuring several terrorists, adding that an army unit stormed a terrorists’ gatherings in Erbin and killed and injured several terrorists.
Another army unit killed and injured all members of an armed terrorist group in Ein Tarma and destroyed their weapons and ammunitions.
An army unit carried out an operation in al-Shayfounia town in Douma area, destroying two terrorists’ dens and killing several terrorists affiliated to the so-called “al-Islam Brigade”. The operation concurred with another one against terrorists in Harasta which ended in killing and injuring a number of them.
In the southern countryside of Damascus, the army units waged a series of operations in al-Ziyabiyeh, al-Husseinyeh, Hejera and Babila and destroyed a heavy machinegun and mortar cannon in al-Ziyabiyeh, in addition to killing a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.
The source pointed out that the army units killed a number of terrorists and injured others in al-Allali area in Darayaa city.
A military source told SANA that a unit of the armed forces foiled an attempt of a number of terrorists to attack one of the military posts in Khan al-Shieh in Damascus countryside, crushing scores of them and injuring others.
Meanwhile, the concerned authorities seized in Damascus Countryside a truck loaded with rockets, mortars, RPG launchers, machine guns and rifles coming from Idleb.
An official source told SANA that the weapons were hidden under fodder stuff heading to Douma city.
One citizen was martyred by a mortar shell when terrorists bombed al-Dukhanieh area in Damascus countryside.
Another mortar shell fell on a house in al-Qassaa area in Damascus, injuring a woman as another shell fell near Crona Restaurant and injured a citizen.
Another mortar shell fell behind al-Zahrawi Hospital in al-Qassaa area without casualties.
One shell fell near Rislan Mosque and another in the vicinity of Bab Touma Square, burning a nearby car and causing material damages at the scene.
Three citizens were injured by a mortar shell fired by terrorists at al-Fahameh area in Damascus.
In Daraa and countryside, units of the armed forces killed several terrorists, including ringleader of an armed group and another one of non-Syrian nationalities, destroying their ammunitions while shelling their dens and gatherings.
An official source told SANA that units of the armed forces targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings and killed and injured scores of terrorists in Idleb and countryside.
In Aleppo, units of the armed forces hammered all members of an armed terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra and destroyed cars loaded with weapons and ammunitions, in addition to a rocket launching-pad and mortars in several villages of Aleppo countryside.
In Homs and countryside, units of the armed forces inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists and destroyed their weapons and equipment.
An official source told SANA that an army unit discovered a terrorists’ warehouse full of thermal missiles , weapons and ammunitions in al-Bweidah al-Sharqia village in al-Qseir countryside where the army restored security and stability last June.
An official source in the province told SANA that the other army units destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in al-Hasaka countryside.
