Syrian Arab army eliminates hundreds of terrorists

PROVINCES,(ST)_Foreign-backed terrorists, who are receiving knockout blows by units of the armed forces in restive areas nationwide, have escalated their attacks on residential areas. 

Today, the terrorists exploded a car bomb at square of Jdaydet al-Shebani town [well known as Jdaydet Wadi Barada town], around 19km to the north-west of the capital [Damascus], and fired shells on several areas in Damascus and Homs provinces.

Three shells landed in Tishreen Park and near Tishreen Palace as well as at Chinese Embassy’s building in Damascus. While other several shells hit towns of al-Amereyeh and Ein al-Dananir outside Homs.

Dozens of terrorist attacks

As for casualties in these terrorist attacks, the official news agency said that several citizens were martyred and wounded in the car bomb explosion and a dustman was wounded near the Chinese Embassy.

Well over 37 terrorist attacks were recorded this month in different provinces.

The escalation of terrorist attacks coincided with eliminating hundreds of terrorists in this month in unrelenting military operations targeted their hideouts and groupings.

Tailored operation in Adra

The armed forces killed today 10 terrorists and wounded 5 others in a tailored operation in Adra al-Balad area outside Damascus and shelled hideouts of terrorists belonging to the so-called ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ and ‘Islam’ brigade to the east of Mesraba, around 12 km to the east of Damascus. 

An unknown number of terrorists were crushed in the shelling and in other operations in areas of al-Qabon, Jobar, Erbin, Harasta, and in towns of al-Bahhareyeh, al-Nashabeyeh , al-Rhaybeh and in farms of Karm al-Rasas as well as in al-Zabadani’s eastern mountains.

Quarrel between terrorists

Other terrorists died in a quarrel erupted between two terrorist groups in Darayya, around 8km to the south-west of Damascus.

Another quarrel was raged between terrorist groups in Der Ezzour province, precisely near Deban town, where oil tank and 300 gas cylinders were burnt.

Clashes

In northern Aleppo province, the armed forces clashed with terrorists trying to attack citizens in safe areas in the old city and destroyed many hideouts and chunk of arms in more than 14 areas in the countryside.

They, in addition, wiped out many terrorist groupings in 10 areas in central Homs province and warded off terrorists’ attacks on towns of Kafr Nan and Marmaretta.
