Syrian Arab Army Eliminates 62 Terrorists Outside Damascus and Aleppo, Discovers Bomb-making Factory in Homs

PROVINCES,(ST)_About 62 terrorists have been killed in concentrated operations in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and in Dar Ezza town in Aleppo province amid reports of finding  a bomb-making factory in Homs countryside.

The official news agency said today that at least 40 terrorists were killed and several others injured in a series of concentrated operations in towns of Der al-Asafer and Ein Tarma and to the east of al-Mliha in the eastern Ghouta outside Damascus.

More terrorists, including a ringleader of the so-called ‘Do’at al-Salam, callers of peace battalion, were eliminated when the army units shelled terrorist groupings in farms of al-Sarkha town, to the south-west of Yabroud city , and in al-Batra’a area as well as in the eastern mountains of al-Zabadani in Damascus countryside.

“More than 10 terrorists were hit in the eastern mountains of al-Zabadani “, the official agency said, adding that most members of  armed terrorist groups with its ringleader were mowed down in the eastern side of Jobar quarter in Damascus countryside.

Meanwhile, the state-run Syrian TV channel reported that an army unit targeted terrorist groupings in Dar Ezza town outside Aleppo province where more than 22 terrorists died and 10 others were hit.

A military source clarified that most of the terrorists hit in the said town were non Syrians.

Unrelenting strikes

It confirmed the continuation of military operations against terrorist groups in around 18 flashpoint areas in the same province [Aleppo].

Moving around 65km to the south-west of Aleppo, precisely in Idleb province, dozens of terrorists belonging to the so-called ‘Thowar Syria’ Front were mowed down when the army units struck terrorist groupings on the outskirt of Hara town.

Two cars equipped with heavy machine guns plus several cars and four machine guns for terrorists were destroyed in the said town and in towns of al-Ghafr, Ma’arret Kefrin and Taftinaz, a military source declared.

In the same province [Idleb], a car exploded in Taftinaz town when an armed terrorist group from the so-called ‘al-Haq’ brigade was booby trapping it. Several terrorist reportedly perished.

Clashes in Der Ezzour

While the province of Der Ezzour witnessed clashes between the army units and armed terrorist groups in quarters of al-Reshdeyeh, al-Hweqa and al-Sena’a, the clashes resulted in killing and injuring many terrorists.

Bomb-making factory

In a further development, the official agency reported that the army units found a bomb-making factory in al-Hesn town outside Damascus.

The factory contained a large number of explosive devices and a big quantity of explosives as well as special devices to make bombs, according to a military source.

The source added that the army units wiped out terrorist groupings in towns of Enq al-Hawa, Abo Hwadid, Jeb al-Jrah, al-Ghasebeyeh and al-Dar al-Kabira outside Homs.

Attack on garrison in Quneitra

Elsewhere, the army units warded off armed terrorists’ attack on a garrison in al-Dwayeh al-Saghera town in Quneitra province and pressed ahead with striking terrorist groups in northern countryside of Lattakia.

Syria is fighting terrorism exported from around 83 countries.

The US, France, the UK, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar sponsor the terrorist groups operating in Syria, world media reports say.
