PROVINCES,(ST)_Military sources have confirmed the death of 36 terrorists and destruction of several arms dumps in Homs countryside amid continuity of pursuing terrorist groupings in and outside Aleppo and outside Daraa and Damascus provinces.
One of the military sources was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that the army units eliminated 10 terrorists and injured several others and wiped out a bulldozer plus Pickup vehicle for terrorists in Em al-Sharshouh town and the surrounding areas outside Homs province.
“26 more terrorists, some of them non-Syrians, were also eliminated and several arms dumps were destroyed in Enq al-Hawa, al-Shendakheyeh, Abo Traha, Em al-Rish, Mes’adah, al-Sheiha, al-Fasedeh and Kaden in the eastern countryside of Homs,” the source added.
It pointed out that an armed terrorist group near al-Ashtar Mosque in al-Rastan city was targeted by an army unit.
Northern and southern provinces
At the same time, another military source declared that many terrorists were killed and injured as the army units targeted terrorist groups in al-Naemeh town, Daraa al-Balad and on the outskirts of Tal Ahmar al-Gharbi in southern Daraa province.
The army units, in addition, targeted an armed terrorist group that had tried to attack civilians on al-Thoraya junction in Inkhel city outside Daraa province.
While in northern Aleppo province, the army units struck terrorist groupings in Hanano, Mare’a, al-Layramon, Kafr Hamra, al-Zerbeh, Bani Zied, Tal Ref’at, al-Jbeleh, Shamer, Fafin, al-Indarat, Babis, al-Meselmeyeh, Dahret Abdrabbo, Kweris, al-Hader, Ebtin and Ard al-Mallah.
A military source stressed that many terrorists died and several cars for terrorists were destroyed in the said areas.
The source added that an army unit foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid from al-Layramon into safe areas in Aleppo.
Last night, the army units carried out a series of operations in the heart of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and targeted terrorist groups in Duma, al-Zabadani and al-Qalamon areas in Damascus countryside.
