Syrian Arab army drives ISIL out of seven towns in Qameshli

PROVINCES,(ST)_Seven towns in southern countryside of Qameshli in Hassaka province plus Zlaqeyeh town in northern Hama countryside have been recaptured by Syrian army, according to the Syrian TV channel.

The TV channel reporter said today Syrian army in cooperation with internal security forces and popular defense groups have regained control of Tal Shreseh, Hajjeyeh, Mteneh, Harra, Kbebeh, Eweneh and Tal Eweneh in southern countryside of Qameshli.

The seven towns were recaptured after defeating the ISIL-linked terrorists from them, media reports clarified.

Few hours later, the Syrian TV channel reported that Syrian army recaptured Zlaqeyeh town north of Helfaya town in northern countryside of Hama.

Several terrorist ringleaders killed in Aleppo

Syrian army, in addition, eliminated several terrorist ringleaders during their meeting inside a hideout in Ekhtrin in Aleppo countryside, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency added that many terrorists were killed and injured when Syrian army targeted their hideouts and groupings in several contested areas outside Daraa, Damascus and Quneitra.

As many as 7 terrorists from al-Nusra Front were killed in al-Bal’a and Sahl al-Rouj in Idlib countryside amid reports of destroying several cars for them in Aleppo.

Other terrorists belonging to al-Nusra Front were mowed down during clashes with Syrian army near Brij town in northern countryside of Aleppo, according to Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.
