Syrian Arab army discovers arms depot in Homs city, eliminates dozens of terrorists in Der Ezzour and Idlib

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has discovered an arms dump in the old city of Homs and eliminated dozens of terrorists in Der Ezzour, Idlib, Aleppo, Quneitra and Daraa.

According to the official news agency (SANA), an army unit discovered a depot containing 5 big explosive devices, 40 mortar rounds, 2 local-made missiles, 2 B10 missiles, bombs and a bomb inside a car wheel hidden by armed terrorist groups before they left the city.

The armed terrorist groups left the old city of Homs under a UN-brokered deal with the Syrian government reached in May 2014.

Military operations against terrorist groups in Homs countryside have continued and many of terrorists have been killed and injured.

Moreover, Syrian army carried out a series of operations against the ISIL positions in quarters of Sena’a, Reshdeyeh, Jbeleh and Hweqa in Der Ezzour city and in Salheyeh town in the countryside of Der Ezzour.

An Iraqi terrorist was among the ISIL-linked terrorists killed in today’s operations  in Der Ezzour. 

ISIL is a terrorist organization called the ‘State of Iraq and the Levant’ .

More terrorists from other armed organizations were eliminated when Syrian army targeted their groupings and hideouts in several areas in Daraa, Aleppo, Idlib and Quneitra as well as in Dama town on the administrative boundary between Sweida and Daraa.

On the other hand, Syrian army foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid into the western quarter of Bosra al-Sham in Daraa countryside and conducted a series of operations against terrorists in Daraa al-Balad.
