Syrian Arab army destroys vehicles carrying ISIS terrorists in Hassaka, thwarts attack on military post in Homs

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed many ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Hassaka and has warded off terrorists’ attack on a military post in Homs countryside, according to military sources.

A military source declared on Friday that army units targeted three vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and several motorcycles belonging to the ISIS terrorists in al-Sabe’a Skor area, about 17 km east Hassaka.

“All terrorists inside the vehicles died.”

At the same time, Syrian army warded off terrorists’ attack on a military post in Em al-Tababer outside Homs.

“The terrorists tried to attack the military post from the towns of Jbab Hamad and al-Tadmoreyeh,” a military source said, adding that many terrorists were killed and injured during the attack.

The same province [Homs] witnessed military operations against terrorist organizations in Em Sharshouh, al-Rastan hill and al-Samarmar Valley south-west Hasya’a area.

There were also military operations against terrorist organizations on the outskirts of al-Habbareyeh town, Msih hill and on Athman-Tafas road in southern Daraa province.

Clashes north-east Duma city

Last night, Syrian army conducted a series of operations on several axes in Jobar quarter, which lies north-east Damascus, amid reports of clashes erupted between army units and armed terrorist groups north-east Duma city outside Damascus.   

More terrorists and mercenaries belonging to the so-called the ‘Islam Army’, the ‘Omma  Army’ and the ‘Ajnad al-Sham’  were eliminated when Syrian army struck their hideouts in Ein Tarma, Zebdin, Deir al-Asafir towns in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus and in Qalamoun area.
