Syrian Arab Army Destroys Tens of Weapons-loaded Cars in Aleppo—Barzeh Locals Return Home

PROVINCES,(ST)_Destruction of dozens of weapons-laden cars for terrorists and elimination of terrorist groups outside Damascus, Idleb, Daraa provinces and in Homs and Aleppo provinces are the main results of today’s operations, according to the official news agency. 

The agency also noted that hundreds of families returned  home in Barzeh quarter, just few kilometers from Damascus, within the national reconciliation.

In details, some 16 weaponry-loaded cars were destroyed by the army units in towns of Der Hafer, al-Msalmeyeh, Einjara, al-Hawoz in Aleppo countryside, according to a military source.

The source noted that tens of cars were also wiped out in Khan al-Assal, Kweris, Erbid and al-Jadedeh towns and in several quarters in the city of Aleppo.

It confirmed the death of scores of terrorists in qualitative operations in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo.

“The army units thwarted terrorists ‘bid to infiltrate into safe areas in al-Layramon and clashed with terrorists trying to attack locals in al-Khedr Street in Salaheddin quarter,” the source said, adding that many terrorists were killed and injured there.

In another development, it was reported that the army units pounded several terrorists’ hideouts in Idleb, Homs and Daraa provinces and outside Damascus.

An unknown number of terrorists, some belong to the so-called the ‘Islamic Front’ and al-Nusra Front, perished in the said provinces.

Syria is fighting terrorism exported from 83 countries.

The US, France, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar sponsor the terrorist groups operating in Syria, media reports say.
