PROVINCES, (ST)_Media sources has said Syrian army destroyed one of the IS hideouts in Der Ezzour and killed more than 150 terrorists from al-Nusra Front in Daraa, confirming the death of US terrorist affiliated to IS in Ayn al-Arab city.
The sources clarified that Syrian army pounded a hideout for terrorists affiliated to the ‘State of Iraq and the Levant’ [Terror organization known as Daesh in Arabic and as IS or ISIL or ISIS in foreign media reports] in al-Jbeleh quarter in Der Ezzour, killing many terrorists.
More terrorists belonging to the same terror organization [Daesh] were mowed down in quarters of al-Hweqa, al-Reshdeyeh, al-Arfi and al-Rosafeh in Der Ezzour province by Syrian army.
Infiltration bids
In addition, Syrian army destroyed today a car bomb before reaching Jabal al-Arba’een in Idlib countryside. “There was an attempt by terrorists to infiltrate into Jabal a-Arba’ee,” the sources said.
Other infiltration attempts by terrorists into al-Masodeyeh and Jeb al-Jrah towns in eastern countryside of Homs were thwarted by Syrian army.
Elsewhere, Syrian army targeted terrorist groups in several areas in Daraa, Quneitra and Aleppo and destroyed a tunnel used by terrorists near al-Amereyeh bridge in Aleppo.
The official news agency (SANA) said Syrian army moved into Tariq al-Sad and Mokhayam al-Nazehin [refugees camp] quarters in Daraa and eliminated over 150 terrorists from al-Nusra Front and wounded hundreds after four days of fighting in southern and southeastern edges of Daraa city.
“Over the past four days, terrorists tried to infiltrate into the heart of Daraa city using all types of weapons and tunnels. They also fired mortar rounds on the city to force people to flee. However, the army units’ steadfastness foiled the terrorists’ plots,” a field commander declared.
US terrorist killed in Ayn al-Arab
In another development, media sources confirmed the death of US terrorist, dubbed Abo Mohammad al-Amreci, who is one of the IS leaders, during the ongoing clashes in Ayn al-Arab city [Known as Kobani in Kurdish]north Syria.
The US terrorist was fighting for al-Qaeda- affiliated al-Nusra Front before joining the terror organization Daesh [IS or ISIL].
Ayn al-Arab city is still witnessing intense fighting between the Kurdish people’s protection units and the Daesh-linked terrorists.
104 gunmen surrender
On the other hand, the competent authorities regularized situations of 104 gunmen from Homs and its suburbs after they turned themselves in to the authorities under reconciliation process.
On September 28th, the authorities regularized situations of 86 gunmen from the same province [Homs].
