Syrian Arab Army Delivers Knockout Blow to Terrorists Infiltrating From Turkey into Town of Kasab, Eliminates Terrorists in Ambushes

PROVINCES,(ST)_The Turkish government  has proven , once again, its support for terrorist gangs that are receiving decisive blows by the army units across the country, a military source says.

The source was quoted on the official news agency as saying: “In a flagrant attack that proves the involvement of Racep Tayyeb Erdogan in supporting terrorist gangs, a Syrian warplane was shot down as it was chasing terrorist groups inside the Syrian territories in Kasab area outside Lattakia province.”

It added that the pilot jumped by parachute from the warplane. 

The source confirmed that knockout blows were delivered to the terrorist groups that infiltrated through the Syrian borders with Turkey in Kasab area.

The last 24 hours have reportedly seen the fiercest fighting yet between the army units and the foreign-backed terrorist groups at the Kasab crossing on the Syrian-Turkish border.

Ambushes

The fighting coincided with mowing down more than 27 terrorists in ambushes near Baballah town of Ariha area outside Idleb province and in al-Dwayeh al-Soghra town in the southern countryside of Quneitra province. 

More terrorists, belonging to al-Nusra Front, were killed yesterday in a third ambush in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.

“The terrorists infiltrated through the Jordanian borders into al-Ma’amel area in Adra city in Damascus countryside,” a military source said.

Terrorists specialized in booby trapping cars killed

In another development, the state-run Syrian TV channel reported that an army unit eliminated a number of terrorists specialized in booby trapping cars in the surrounding of Hosh Arab town in al-Qalamon area outside Damascus.

The military operations against terrorist groups have not stopped in al-Qalamon area, according to the official agency which said that the army units pounded a hideout for terrorists in the northeastern farms of al-Sar’kha town and killed many of them.

Intense clashes

There were also clashes between army units and armed terrorist groups in several areas in Darayya city, around 11km to the south-west of Damascus, where 15 terrorists were mowed down and 2 cars were destroyed.

Another clash flared up between an army unit and an armed terrorist group to the north of Ezra’a city in southern Daraa province. It resulted in shooting 16 of the terrorist group’s members. 

The terrorist groups were inflicted more losses when the army units targeted them on al-Hrak-Namer road and in several areas in Daraa al-Balad and outside Daraa province as well as in areas of Duma, Ein Tarma and Erbin in Damascus countryside.

The army units also shelled terrorist groupings in around 18 areas in northern Aleppo province and in 3 areas in Idleb countryside as well as in Morek town in the northern countryside of Hama province.

Infiltration bids

The army thwarted terrorists’ infiltration bids from al-Mahajjeh town into the international highway in Daraa countryside and from the eastern side of Omayyad Mosque in the old city of Aleppo.

An unknown number of terrorists were killed and injured in the said areas and in other areas in central Homs province.  

24 gunmen surrendered

Meanwhile, it was said that 24 gunmen from the quarters of Old Homs city turned themselves in to competent authorities.

Syria is fighting terrorism exported from around 83 countries.

The US, France, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel and Qatar sponsor terrorists groups operating in Syria, world media reports say.
