Syrian Arab army defeats terrorists from Daraa’s Sheikh Sa’ed town, eliminates dozens of al-Nusra Front-affiliates in more than 18 areas

PROVINCES,(ST)_Fresh achievements have been scored in the continuous battle against foreign-backed terrorists across the country.    

Here’s roundup of what has been achieved by the armed forces today on all fronts, according to military and official source. 

In Damascus countryside:

-Imposing control over Zamalka bridge and nearby buildings, located 6km to the east of Damascus.

-Destroying two weapons-laden cars to the east of al-Shefoneyeh farms in Doma area, around 14km to the east of the capital [Damascus].

-Destroying a third car loaded with weapons in Harasta area, to the west of Doma area.

-Mowing down 7 terrorists in Jobar suburb, around 3km to the west of Zamalka area.

-Eliminating a ringleader and several gangsters in al-Qabon area, just 6km to the north-west of Zamalka.

-Launching a series of operations in towns of al-Qasemeyeh and al-Delbeh in the eastern Ghouta ended in killing an unknown number of terrorists, some of Saudi, Iraqi, Kuwaiti, and Jordanian nationalities.

-Carrying out other operations in Hajjira town in the southern Damascus countryside where a ringleader died.

-Clashing with terrorists in Darayya city, around 13 km to the south-east of Damascus.

-Launching a tailored operation on the outskirts of ‘Safir Ma’aloula’ Hotel.

-Wiping out weaponry and munitions of terrorists in Yabroud, Ras al-Ein, al-Nasereyeh and al-Etneh.

-Eliminating several terrorist groups linked to al-Nusra Front on the outskirts of ‘Safir Ma’aloula’ Hotel, Dahret Michael, and north of Jabadin, south of Wadi al-Sarkha, al-Msetbeh hill, as well as in Barta farms near Rankos area. 

In Lattakia countryside

-Killing 11 terrorists from al-Nusra Front and destroying two rocket launchers and weapons in Beit Ebliq. Terrorists of Palestinian and Algerian nationals were among the dead.

-Destroying an arms dump and three cars loaded with weapons in al-Rabe’a town where many terrorists perished. A military source announced names of 8 killed terrorists carrying Palestinian, Iraqi, Egyptian,and Moroccan nationals.

In Aleppo province:

-Destroying several weapons-loaded cars near Assan town and in area of al-Sheikh Sa’ed, as well as in the northern side of Ebtin and in the eastern side of Ezan.

-Mowing down terrorists in the surrounding on the central prison and al-Kendi Hospital and further in Khan al-Assal, al-Wadihi, Kafr Kar, and Bnan al-Hes. 

-Targeting 6 cars loaded with weapons and ammunitions on alMarjeh-Sheikh Sa’ed road.

-Raiding terrorists’ vehicles and arms in the eastern Aleppo countryside, precisely in al-Amara town and at the entry of Der Hafer and north of Hamimeh town as well as south of Abo Jabbar town.

-Shelling terrorist groupings, some affiliated to al-Nusra Front, in towns of al-Mentar, Hayyan, Dahret Najm, Azzan, Rasm Ekirish, al-Azezeh, Kweris, al-Jadedeh, and Rasm al-Abbod.

In Idlib countryside

-Bombarding hideouts of terrorists in the towns surrounding Jabal al-Arba’en area. As many as 8 terrorists were identified among the dead.

-Crushing terrorists in Ma’arret Mesrin town.

In Homs province:

-Shelling terrorist’s hideouts in Kesin, al-Ghajar, Talbeseh, and al-Dar al-Kabereh towns and in quarters of Bab Hod, al-Warsheh and al-Qarabis.

-Destroying heavy machine guns and vehicles and hammering terrorist groupings in farm of al-Hlal, Jbab Hamad, Eqirbat, al-Sekhneh, Arshoni, Mnokh and Jeb Jabal outside Palmyra.

-Eliminating a terrorists grouping affiliated to al-Nusra Front to the west of Deir Foul. A ringleader of Saudi nationality was among the dead.

In Daraa countryside

-Restoring stability and security to al-Sheikh Saed town in the western countryside in the wake of flushing terrorists out there.
