PROVINCES,(ST)_Aleppo province has been the scene of heavy fighting between units of the armed forces and al-Nusra Front-affiliated terrorists amid reports of dismantling Israeli-made mines in the country’s southern province.
In details, units of the armed forces clashed today with terrorists of al-Nusra Front in towns of Meneg, Byanon, and al-Layramon and squares of al-Jazmati and al-Sakhour in Aleppo province and its surrounding.
The clashes resulted in eliminating an unknown number of terrorists and destroying their weapons including machineguns and mortars.
Several hideouts of terrorists have been reportedly pounded on Kafernaha road in Khan al-Assal area in the same province, according to a military source.
Israel-made mines in Daraa
At the same time, a unit of the armed forces confronted a terrorist group’s attack on a garrison at Jellin square in southern Daraa province where many mines , some made in Israel, and explosive devices were dismantled.
Other confrontations took place in the central Homs province when terrorists tried to attack Joret al-Shayyah quarter and to sneak into the city through tunnels in al-Waer quarter. Most of the terrorists were reportedly killed.
Several gas wells under army’s control
The confrontations coincided with targeting several terrorist groupings outside al-Holeh and in quarters of al-Khaledeyeh and al-Qarabis in Homs besides hunting down an armed terrorist groups outside Palmyra.

Clashes outside capital
In Damascus countryside, intense clashes broke out in Babbila and Erbin suburbs and south al-Sayedeh Zainab area and in Halbon town where 2 terrorist ringleaders and gangsters were crushed.
Moreover, a terrorist sniper was killed in a farm in Harasta suburb, west of the international road.
Meanwhile, a unit of the armed forces carried out a qualitative operation in Lattakia countryside which resulted in pounding an arms cache in al-Hayat town.
An official source declared that all terrorists , who were inside the cache, were killed, adding: “terrorists carrying foreign nationalities were among the dead.”
In Hassaka province, a unit of the armed forces confronted terrorists’ attack on a military checkpoint at the western al-Nashweh quarter. Most of the terrorists were eliminated.
In a separate incident, a car bomb explosion in al-Dwereneh town in eastern Aleppo countryside caused serious damages to the infrastructure and the abutment buildings. No one was hurt.
Syria is at a state of war and its army fights foreign-backed terrorists, who systematically work to destroy the national economy and shed the Syrian people’s blood across the country.
The US, France, Britain, Turkey, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia support the terrorists by all means.
