Syrian Arab army continues sweeping operations against terrorists

PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of the armed forces are moving in on the northern areas of Damascus countryside and have clashed with foreign-backed terrorists in the northern Aleppo province.

In details, it was reported today that several buildings on Tishreen Hospital road in Barzeh suburb, north of Damascus, became under army’s control after eliminating all terrorists sheltering there.

This progress was preceded by restoring stability and security to al-Sawame’a area and surrounding hills in Ma’arret al-No’aman countryside in Idlib province.

Relative to the developments in Damascus countryside, an official source confirmed the furtherance of crackdown operations against terrorists in Doma, Harasta farms, al-Tal, Hajjira areas, and the eastern Ghouta.

At least 12 thugs were killed in the operations.

Army wards off attack on safe areas

Meanwhile, the armed forces repelled an armed terrorist groups’ bid to sneak into some safe areas in Khan al-Assal and al-Klereyeh hill in the southwestern Aleppo countryside.

Most of the groups’ members were killed and injured.

Other terrorists were reportedly crushed in towns of B’edin, Kafr Da’el, and Dahret al-Ar’a and in the surrounding of Aleppo central prison when the armed forces shelled their hideouts there.

Clash east of Homs

In the central Homs province, a unit of the armed forces clashed with an armed terrorist group between al-Na’ameyeh and Sadad towns (east of Homs) amid reports of pounding several terrorist groupings in al-Holeh area.

The clash, according to an official source, resulted in killing two terrorists, arresting one and seizing a car loaded with various types of weapons.

Thugs kill each other

In another development, quarrel flared up in Der Ezzour province between two terrorist groups from towns of Mohsen and al-Bolil over splitting loots.

Big number of terrorists perished in the quarrel in which all types of weapons and bombs were used.
