Several media reports said that the armed forces reached the center of Ma’aloula town while the official news agency (SANA) reported: “the armed forces continued carrying out operations against the armed terrorist groups in Ma’aloula and its surrounding where a ringleader of the so-called ‘al-Farouq’ battalion in Yabroud area was among the dead.”
In fact, there are conflicting reports on the results of the ongoing fighting there.
As for developments on other fronts, official and military sources confirmed that a series of operations were carried out against the armed terrorist groups in eastern Ghouta and in northern and southern Damascus countryside.
