Syrian Arab army conducts series of concentrated operations in many areas

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have carried out a series of concentrated operations against terrorist groupings in more than 65 areas in Daraa, Quneitra, Idlib, Aleppo and Der Ezzour and outside Damascus and Homs.

According to the official news agency (SANA), the operations resulted in killing large numbers of terrorists and destroying a lot of their cars and weapons.

The operations coincided with thwarting terrorists’ infiltration attempts from al-Waer quarter into Jest al-Khrab and Basatin al-Gouta in Homs countryside and from al-Ghanto town into Jabborin town in the same province [Homs].

There was another infiltration attempt by terrorists from the east side of al-Salam highway outside Damascus, but an army unit foiled it.

Last night, an army unit eliminated 20 terrorists belonging to al-Nusra Front inside a hideout in Inkhel town in southern Daraa province.
