Syrian Arab Army Conduct accurate Operations Outside Aleppo—terrorists Kill 9 Citizens in Mortar Attacks

PROVINCES,(ST)_At least 9 citizens have been martyred and 19 others wounded in terrorist attacks on urban areas in north Aleppo province which countryside witnessed accurate operations against terrorist groupings. 

The official news agency said on Friday that terrorists fired shells on homes of citizens in quarters of al-Jameleyeh and al-Masharqa, killing 9 citizens and leaving 19 others wounded.

It quoted a police command source as citing that the mortar attacks caused material damages to infrastructures in the two quarters.

Another mortar attack took place in the capital [Damascus] when terrorists launched shells on the northern side of the Omayyad Mosque. It left material damages with no casualties.  

While in the countryside of Damascus, precisely in al-Wafedin camp and Ein al-Teneh town, two children were wounded by terrorists, according to the official agency.

Concerning the latest developments in the ongoing war against terrorism, it was said many terrorist groups were eliminated in a series of operations in areas of Adra, Jobar, Duma, Darayya, Khan al-Sheih, Rankos and Yabroud in Damascus countryside.

More terrorists were killed in accurate operations in towns of Kweris, Jdedeh, Erbid, Hmemeh, Nasrallah Rasm al-Abboud , al-Sheikh Najjar, Mayer, Tal Jben, al-Meselmeyeh and Ebtin outside Aleppo province.

The operations synchronized with clashes between army units and armed terrorist groups in quarters of al-Haddadin, al-Khanat, Karm al-Mayser, al-Marjeh and al-Nerab in the city of Aleppo.

Scores of terrorists died.

Elsewhere, the army units warded off attacks by armed terrorist groups on garrisons in Soran area in Hama province and near power station to the east of al-Majbal area in Daraa province.

Syria is fighting terrorism exported from around 83 countries.

The US, France, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar sponsor terrorist groups operating in Syria.
