Syrian Arab Army Clashes with Terrorists on Outskirts of Mliha Town, Kills Dozens of Terrorists in Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_Fierce clashes have flared up between army units and armed terrorist  groups on the outskirts of the strategic Mliha town and in Darayya city outside Damascus amid reports of killing dozens of terrorists outside Aleppo, Lattakia, Daraa, Homs and Idleb provinces.

The clashes ended in killing and injuring many terrorists in the northern and eastern sides of Mliha town in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, the official news agency (SANA) reported on Monday.

The agency pointed out that four terrorists died in the clashes in Darayya city in the western Ghouta of Damascus.

The clashes coincided with striking terrorists’ hideouts and groupings in Zebdin farms, Jesrin, al-Nashabeyeh, Zamalka and Duma outside Damascus and in Jobar quarter near Damascus.

 Hideout for al-Nusra Front ringleaders destroyed

A hideout for al-Nusra Front ringleaders and an arms depot were destroyed in Khan al-Sheih farms in the same province [Damascus countryside], according to the official agency.

The agency added that the army units eliminated dozens of terrorists in al-Layramon, al-Mash’had, al-Halak, Bani Zied, Tallet al-Souda, Ein Deqneh and Babis in and outside Aleppo province.

In the same province [Aleppo], the army units wiped out seven cars plus two convoys equipped with heavy machineguns for terrorists in Handarat, Tal Refat , Hritan, Mare’a and Deir Hafer.

Some 14 terrorists killed

While in northwestern province of Idleb, the army units confiscated weapons as they were pursuing terrorists in farms on Idleb-Bennesh road and in Ma’arblit town. They killed and injured many terrorists there. 

In addition, almost 14 terrorists perished when the army units obliterated a hideout for terrorists in al-Tibah town in Jesr al-Shoughor outside Idleb.

More terrorists from al-Nusra Front were mowed down in towns of al-Mghereyeh, Rabe’a and Qasab in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

A military source announced names of nine identified terrorists killed there.

Elsewhere, the army units crushed many terrorists in several areas outside Homs, Daraa and Quneitra provinces and warded off terrorists’ attacks on a garrison in Wadi al-Ein outside Palmyra.
