Syrian Arab army clashes with terrorists north-east Duma outside Damascus, targets terrorist organizations in Homs, Aleppo, Idlib
PROVINCES,(ST)_Dozens of terrorist were killed Sunday during military operations against terrorist organizations in more than 70 areas outside Aleppo, Homs, Idlib, Daraa, Quneitra, Damascus, Hama and Lattakia, according to military sources.
The sources added that two hideouts for terrorists in al-Waer quarter in central Homs province plus a third hideout in Duma outside Damascus were destroyed during the operations.
Other hideouts for terrorists in Bosra al-Sham, al-Sheikh Meskin, Athman, Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraa province and in Mashara and al-Hamedeyeh in Quneitra countryside as well as in al-Derra town in northern countryside of Lattakia were also destroyed.
The operations, in addition, resulted in wiping out several vehicles for terrorists in Jorod Arsal in al-Qalamon area outside Damascus and in Khan Shekhon, Abo Duhur, al-Naqir, al-Sheikh Mustafa, Kafr Sejneh, al-Hbit and Hzarin outside Idlib and Hama.
A terrorist of Jordanian nationality plus many terrorists belonging to the so-called the ‘Ajnad al-Shan’ were killed as Syrian army clashed with terrorist groups in farms of al-Rihan and Tal Kerdi north-east Duma city outside Damascus.
In the same province [Damascus countryside], Syrian army destroyed several hideouts for terrorists at the southern entry of Erbin town and warded off terrorists’ attack on a garrison in Jorod Halbon town.
305 wanted persons surrender
On the other hand, the official news agency (SANA) said that 305 wanted persons From Homs, Damascus and its suburbs turned themselves in to the competent authorities under national reconciliation process.
On October 14th, some 259 wanted persons from Damascus and its suburbs, Homs, Hama, Hassaka, Aleppo and Lattakia turned themselves in to the authorities.
The competent authorities regularize the situations of the persons who surrender.
50 IS terrorists killed and injured in Ayn al-Arab
Regarding the developments in Ayn al-Arab city [known as Kobani in Kurdish] north-east Syria, a Kurdish source was quoted on the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel as saying that 5o terrorists from the Daesh organizations were killed and injured in clashes with the People’s protection units (YPG) near Souq al-Hal [al-Hal Market] north-east the city.
The TV channel added that the People’s protection units are advancing in the eastern edge of the city, pointing out that a car bomb exploded in al-Sena’a quarter north-east Ayn al-Arab city.
