Syrian Arab army clashes with terrorists in Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, strikes ISIL sites in Hama

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has reportedly destroyed a Grad rockets depot in Lattakia countryside and has killed three snipers in Jobar quarter near Damascus, as clashes erupt between army units and terrorist groups in the heart of the Eastern Ghouta.

The Grad rockets depot was located in Salma town in northern countryside of Lattakia, the official news agency (SANA) reported, adding that the army units targeted terrorist’s hideouts in Marj Khokha and north al-Maroneyeh.

Other hideouts for terrorist organizations in Morek, Kafr Zeitta, al-Latamneh, Skik al-Arbe’en, Atshan and north Tal Bzam in Hama countryside were targeted, according to a military source.

The source confirmed the death of dozens of terrorists and destruction of 4 cars for them in the said areas.

It added that the army units struck sites of the terror organization Daesh [ the ‘State of Iraq and the Levant’, known as IS or ISIL] in Jana al-Albawi in the same province [Hama] where many terrorist were killed and injured.

3 snipers killed  

Three snipers were mowed down east Maysalon square in Jobar quarter near Damascus, another military source declared, noting that army units carried out operations in Harasta, Erbin, Ein Tarma, Saqba and Hezzet Najm in Damascus countryside.

Many terrorists, including Kuwaiti and Jordanian mercenaries, died in the operations.

The same province [Damascus countryside] witnessed clashes between army units and armed terrorist groups in farms of al-Zamaneyeh and al-Bahareyeh towns in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus as well as in Darayya city.

in addition, Syrian army warded off terrorists’ attack on a garrison located between al-Jebbeh and Esal al-Ward in al-Qalamon mountains and pounded hideouts for terrorists in Zabadani city outside Damascus.

The military operations against terrorists organizations in Daraa, Aleppo and Idlib have continued where large numbers of terrorists have reportedly been killed.
