Syrian Arab Army Clamps Down on Terrorists in Al-Mliha Town Outside Damascus, Advances in Aleppo Battle
PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have made progress in the ongoing al-Mliha battle outside Damascus, destroyed some 50 cars for terrorists in Aleppo province and annihilated more than 89 terrorists in Lattakia countryside.
According to the official news agency (SANA), the army units have clamped down on armed terrorist groups in al-Mliha town outside Damascus after wiping out terrorist groupings there.
The agency added that several hideouts and terrorist groupings were targeted in Der al-Asef town, Jobar, Harasta, Adra, Duma and Jeroud areas.
Many terrorists, some belonging to the so-called ‘ Fajr al-Omeh’ brigade were killed in the said areas and in Darayya city which witnessed clashes between army units and armed terrorist groups.
Some 50 cars for terrorists destroyed
Moreover, the agency reported that the army units continued moving forwards in the quarters of al-Ramoseh, al-Amereyeh and al-Layramon in Aleppo province.
A military source confirmed the perdition of a large number of terrorists and destruction of 50 cars in surgical strikes against the terrorist groupings in al-Sheikh Najjar, surrounding the central prison, al-Jbeleh, Mayer, Mare’a , Hritan, Andan, al-Mansoura, al-Shwehne, al-Layramon, Kweris, Rasm al-Abbod and al-Jadedeh outside Aleppo province.
The source noted that the army units shelled terrorist groupings in the quarters of al-Rashedin, Bestan al-Qasr, al-Zebdeyeh, al-Sakhor, al-Salehen, Hanano, Bani Zeid, and Old city in Aleppo.
“Many cars for terrorists were destroyed in al-Halak quarter,” the source added.
Over 89 terrorists pulverized in Lattakia countryside
While in the northern countryside of Lattakia, some 39 terrorists were killed and more than 50 others injured in Ein al-Delbeh in kasab area.
Most of the terrorists, who were injured in the said area, were non- Syrians, a military source said.
Elsewhere, the army units crushed many terrorists in several restive areas in Homs and Daraa provinces.
