Syrian Arab army carries out large-scale operations in Idlib countryside, kills many terrorists outside Homs

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has carried out a large-scale operations against hideouts of al-Nusra Front, the ‘Islamic Front’ and the ‘Jend al-Aqsa’ in Idlib countryside, a military source said Thursday.

The source confirmed the death of large numbers of terrorists in the operations.

It clarified that army units killed large numbers of terrorists including field commanders affiliated to the so-called the ‘Islamic Front’ in a qualitative operation south Serjeh town in Jabal al-Zawyehe on Ariha-Ma’arra road outside Idlib.

“Army units also eliminated  19 terrorists linked to the al-Nusra Front and  wounded 12 others in Mozra town on the western edge of Jabal al-Zaweyeh,” the source said.

It added that a Moroccan terrorist, dubbed Abo Mojahed, and a Libyan one, his name Akram al-Horra, were among terrorists killed in the said town.

More terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Jend al-Aqsa’ were mowed down during strikes carried out by army units in Me’ayan, Hila and al-Kfir.

Two cars equipped with heavy machineguns belonging to terrorists were destroyed in the strikes.

In this context, the official news agency (SANA) confirmed that army units pressed ahead with targeting terrorist supply routes from Turkey to Idlib.

The agency also reported that army units killed many terrorists in Tal Abo al-Snasel, Em Sharshouh, al-Rastan, Talbiseh, al-Saen, Hosh Hajjo towns in Homs countryside.
