Syrian Arab Army Advances in Northeastern Countryside of Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military operations against foreign-backed terrorist groups have continued in more than 60 areas in and outside Aleppo province and outside Daraa, Damascus, Homs, Idleb and Quneitra provinces, according to the official news agency (SANA).  

The operations resulted in killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying several cars for them.

Three weapon-laden cars for terrorists were targeted while entering al-Hejeh town in southern Daraa province, a military source said.

At the same time, the army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration bids from Khan al-Shieh farms into a garrison in Damascus countryside and from the old city of Aleppo into l-Mesherfeyeh Mosque in the city.

Other attacks by terrorists on several garrisons on the outskirts of Mhambal town outside Idleb province were also thwarted by the army units.

Kafr Sgher town ‘safe’

Yesterday, the army Units restored security and stability to Kafr Sgher town, located to the north of the industrial city in al-Sheikh Najjar area, outside Aleppo. They defused several mines and explosive devices that were planted by terrorists on roads of the town.

The army units also found various types of missiles, walkie-talkies and materials for making bombs during a combing operation in Aleppo’s industrial city.
