Syrian Arab army advances in Hama countryside
PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces have vanquished foreign- backed terrorists from 18 villages in countryside of Hama and Homs and have eliminated several terrorist ringleaders elsewhere.
It was declared today that 16 villages outside Hama have become under the Syrian Arab army control after cleansing hem of al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists.

An official source said that big quantity of explosive devices and telecommunication devices were confiscated during mopping up operations in the villages.
The army’s advance outside Hama was followed by regaining security and stability to two farms –Bet alRasekh and Bet alNabhan- outside the central Homs province.
4 terrorist ringleaders eliminated
At the same time, the units of armed forces eliminated 4 terrorist ringleaders and dozens of gangsters in surrounding farms of al-Ahmadeyeh town in the Eastern Ghouta, Alya farms in Doma suburb, western quarter in al-Zabadani, Babbila and al-Hazar al-Aswad areas outside the capital.
The same province also saw clashes between units of the armed forces and terrorist groups in the eastern farms of Barzeh quarter and in Jobar suburb resulted in killing unknown number of terrorists and destroying their weapons.
Several terrorists’ hideouts pounded
The clashes coincided with targeting hideouts of terrorists in towns of al-Shabraq, Hit, Sahm al-Golan, Sison, al-Lwehq Tsil, Jlin, Naf’a, al-Alyeh, and Tafas in the southern Daraa province.
An official source confirmed that many terrorists were killed there while an engineering unit dismantled two explosive devices of the weight 30-40 kg/each planted on Damascus-Daraa highway.
It added that a terrorist group’s members were killed in an ambush in Mahaje town in the same southern province. “The members were carrying booklets and CDs on extremist thinking of al-Nusra Front,” the source added.
In Palmyra city, the armed forces arrested two terrorists as they were trying to plant an explosive device in a residential alley.
It was also reported that al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists were inflicted heavy losses outside Lattakia, Idlib, Hassaka and Aleppo provinces during operations carried out in several areas.
Most of the killed terrorist in the northern Aleppo countryside were Saudis.
On the other hand, a quarrel broke out between two terrorist groups in Der Hafer outside Aleppo over sharing stolen industrial machines.
As many as 12 terrorists were died and dozens injured in the quarrel.
