Syrian Arab Army Achieves Decisive Superiority in Aleppo – Czech Researcher

PRAGUE, (ST) – The Syrian Arab Army has achieved “decisive superiority” in Aleppo tightening the grip on the terrorists of al-Nousra Front and the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL) in the eastern part of the city and cutting off their  supply routes  “Michael Pertinitske” a Czech researcher at the International Relations Institute, has stressed.

In an article published today by the Czech “Pravo” Newspaper, the Czech researcher said “battlefield developments in the city of Aleppo and its surrounding will positively affect later military developments in other Syrian areas.”

He added that the “way is open for the Syrian government to achieve new important victory that will weaken the morale of the so-called opposition which aims to seize power in Syria.”

“Gunmen’s defeat in Aleppo will make the strategy of US administration, which led an international coalition against Daesh, more fragile,” he affirmed.

The researcher criticized the French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius’s recent call on the U.S. to launch strikes against the Syrian Arab Army in Aleppo and to provide multi-faced support for the so-called “moderate gunmen” fighting in the city.   He said the French minister’s call reflected the view points of other countries member in the coalition, mainly Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
