Syrian antiquity photo exhibition in Florence Concluded

FLORENCE,(ST)_ The Syrian Photograph exhibition entitled “on the Syrian tourism Day, Syrian treasures.. heritage of humanity”, was concluded yesterday in Florence, Italy.

The exhibition, which had started on March 28th witnessed great turnout and the admiration of visitors who learnt about the size of the damage inflicted on the Syrian archaeological and historical sites at the hands of terrorist organizations.

President of the Syrian community in Italy, Dr. Jamal Abu Abbas, pointed  during a conclusion seminar held on the sidelines of the exhibition to the massacres committed in Syria by terrorist organizations, over which the Italian media turned a blind eye, stressing that this shows the continuation of the plot and the Syrian bloodshed.

For his part, Bishop Hilarion Kapoji of Jerusalem in exile talked about the tragedy experienced by the Syrian individual who suffers war, siege, hunger and poverty as a result of this unjust war and plotted war against him since years.

Bishop Kapoji stressed the need for peace all over the world, saying: ” Western countries should not intervene in states affairs and Syria has been suffering from more than four-year old conspiracy, during which takfiri gangs have killed the stone and humans, alike “.

The bishop also renewed prayers for peace and stability in Syria.
Local minister for the city of FlorenceFrancesco Tursla confirmed that he was misled and did not know the truth about what is happening in Syria.

Participated in the seminar,were Sheikh Abbas De Palma, of Italian origin, Saverio Di Giulio political activist in Solid Association, Dr. Oday Ramadan, a political activist and a large audience representing all social segments.
