DAMASCUS, Aug.10, (ST)- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates conducted this morning a phone call with his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi.
During the call, Al-Miqdad asserted that Syria attaches importance to the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and welcomed the progress that has been made in various fields.
The talks also dealt with the situation in the Arab arena and the latest developments.
For his part, Al-Busaidi affirmed his country’s constant endeavor to find harmony and understanding among all Arab countries.
He also emphasized Oman’s support for Syria’s role and position, the importance of its stability and territorial integrity, and to get rid of any foreign intervention.
The two ministers agreed to continue communication and make efforts to face current and future challenges for the good of Arab issues and the progress of Arab countries in political, economic and cultural fields.
