Syrian and Bahraini talks in trade and investment fields

On June 22nd, the Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Amr Salem, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria, Waheed Mubarak Sayar.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation relations in the trade and investment fields and a number of topics and issues of concern to the two brotherly countries.

Minister Salem stressed that the ministry provides full support to all businessmen and investors who go to Syria to set up investment projects that benefit everyone and simplify the procedures for them.

In his turn, Ambassador Sayar stressed the depth of the historical relations between the two brotherly countries, expressing his great confidence in the Syrian people and their leadership in reviving the country after the global war that it was subjected to.
