Syrian Airlines will start their flights tomorrow to evacuate the Syrian citizens from the United Arab Emirates
The Ministry of Transport announced the start of its flights tomorrow to evacuate Syrian citizens who wish to return from a number of countries in the world to Syria, in implementation of the decisions of the government team concerned with tackling the Corona virus.
The Ministry said in a statement that “tomorrow, Syrian Airlines will begin operating its flights to evacuate Syrian citizens who wish to return from a number of countries of the world to Syria according to the lists registered through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates at embassies and diplomatic missions”, indicating that the flights will take place over several days and within binding health conditions and procedures as well as with medical supervision from the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry stated that, tomorrow, Syrian Airlines will operate a flight to evacuate the Syrian citizens who wish to return from the United Arab Emirates on the 340 Airbus plane, adding that 250 passengers will be transported from Sharjah Airport at 7 pm Sharjah time to reach Damascus International Airport at 9:30 pm Damascus time.
In its statement, the Ministry called on the Syrian citizens to be present at Sharjah Airport seven hours before the flight, to conduct the necessary medical tests, noting that that there will be no contact with the flight crew during flight hours.
The Ministry underlined the need that the passengers should take masks and gloves with them, and strictly adhere to the instructions and health measures that will be given at the airport and on the plane.
