Syrian Air Force targets terrorist organizations’ dens, kills scores of them

Provinces – The Syrian Air Force carried out sorties on Monday targeting positions of the terrorist organizations on a large scale, hemming them in and inflicting severe losses upon them in personnel and vehicles in various areas, SANA reported.

Damascus Countryside

A military source said that the Syrian Air Force destroyed vehicles for ISIS and killed scores of its members in Khan Abu al-Shammat and al-Kassarat in the eastern part of Damascus Countryside.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed as a number of their vehicles, which were machineguns-equipped and loaded with weapons and ammunition, were destroyed.

Homs

 

In the central province of Homs, the Syrian Air Force destroyed a position for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in Teir Ma’ale village in northern countryside of the province.

The military source said that the Air Force launched a sortie against a base for  the terrorists organization at the surroundings of the village, destroying it completely.

Lattakia

Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, foiled a terrorist attack on military checkpoints in Kansaba area in the northeastern countryside of Lattakia.

A military source said that army units clashed with terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra who were attacking military checkpoints in the direction of Abu Ali and al-Qamua Mountains in Kansaba area to the northeast of Lattakia city, destroying an armored vehicle, killing many terrorists, and injuring many others.

The source added that the army and popular defense groups are still targeting and pursuing the remaining terrorists who fled towards the Turkish territories.
