Syrian air defenses encounter Israeli missile attack

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Syrian air defenses have encountered Israeli missile attack in the southern region and downed most of the missiles before reaching their goals, according to the Syria Alikhbaria TV channel. 

The Israeli attack comes one day after the Syrian army delivered a painful blow to terrorist groups in the northern countryside of Hama and in the south of Idleb.

A military source declared that Syrian air defenses identified today at 23:30 enemy targets coming from Golan towards Damascus. They immediately countered the attack and downed most of the missiles before reaching their goals.
