Syrian Air announces return of flights from Abu Dhabi to Lattakia and vice versa

Lattakia- The Syrian Arab Airlines announced the return of flights from Abu Dhabi to Lattakia and vice versa on Tuesday, March 26th.

Head of the Lattakia branch, Eng. Fadi Khair Beik,  told SANA that these trips will continue every Tuesday to cover the huge demand for travel from the UAE to Syria, especially in light of the presence of a large Syrian community in the UAE.

“This trip is added to the weekly journey which the company continued to run from Sharjah to Lattakia and vice versa every Friday, pointing out that Al-Bassel Airport serves large segments of those wishing to come to Syria due to its proximity to the provinces of Aleppo, Hama, Tartous and Homs,” he added.

He pointed out that the re-operation of the Abu Dhabi line “will provide additional revenue for the Syrian Establishment and will ease the burden of the second option, which is Beirut airport, that saves time and effort for passengers.” “

He pointed out that the Establishment is working to operate three other stations from Lattakia to Cairo, Doha and Kuwait and vice versa, as well as studying at the same time running a weekly trip to Moscow with the beginning of summer.
