Syrian actors participate in a series that exposes the crimes of (ISIS) in Iraq

Damascus (ST): The Syrian actors Bassem Yakhour, Kinda Hanna, Milad Youssef and Muhammad Qanoua, and director Naji Tommy are participating in the series “The Night of Fall,” based on a text written by the Egyptian writer Magdy Saber.

The story of the work, whose scenes were filmed in the Iraqi city of Erbil between 2014 and 2017, deals with events that occurred in the city of Mosul during its exposure to ISIS terrorism, and reviews the tragic conditions experienced by the people of this city during that era.

The work aims to convey a realistic picture of the horrors that have passed through the Arab region over the past years. It is considered the first work of its kind that discusses the brutal crimes of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the city of Mosul in particular and the cities of Iraq in general, to reveal the facts that are missing from this terrorist organization.

The work was produced by “Without Borders for Artistic and Film Production” in partnership with “Ashob Movies”.  Starring in the series are a group of Arab stars, including Seba Mubarak from Jordan, Tariq Lotfi, Ahmed Siyam, Nourhan Abdel Rahman from Egypt, Khalil Ibrahim, Zulfiqar Khader, and Hassan Hadi And Bahaa Khayoun from Iraq.

Tommy is scheduled to finish filming the work in the middle of next October, and it will be shown at the beginning of 2022.
