Syria wins two gold medals in UAE’s Youth and Junior Muaythai Open

Syrian Muaythai players Ahmad Yaser Abu Jeish and Abdul Rahman Ammar Abu Zeid won two gold medals in the UAE Youth and Junior Muaythai Open.

Abu Jeish came first in the competitions of the 54kg category for 11-year-old players while Abu Zeid won the gold medal of the competitions of the over 63kg category for 13-year-old players. The two Syrian winners are both residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Head of the Federation of Kickboxing and Muaythai Manar Bizreh said in a statement to SANA that the championship witnessed the participation of more than 350 players representing 35 sport clubs in the UAE.

The new Syrian achievement indicates that the Syrian sport and sportsmen have notable presence in all international sport events.
