Syria wins six medals in the World Olympiad in Applied Physics competitions

Syria won six medals in the 2021 First World Applied Physics Olympiad, which was held virtually in Indonesia.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority clarified in a statement, that SANA received a copy of, that the national team for the Syrian Science Olympiad (specializing in physics) obtained five silver medals and a bronze medal through its team participation   in the first International Applied Physics Olympiad in 2021.

Last April, ten students representing the Syrian National Scientific Olympiad specialization (Physics) participated in the World Olympiad in four centers distributed over the governorates of Damascus, Lattakia, Aleppo, and Tartous over two rounds.
