Syria wins seven medals in Wrestling

Baghdad  – Syria’s wrestling team won seven medals (4 gold and 3 silver) in Wrestling at the  Junior Arab Championship 2019  that is currently held in Iraq.

Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan and Morocco participated in the competition.

Mohammed Asad al-Din al-Osta (60 kg cat), Mohammed Fawaz (63 kg), Ali Nshiwati (92 kg) and Ammar Abu Alika (130 kg) won the gold medals, while Bahaa al-Nakdali (55 kg), Hilal Qamzani (72kg) and Hani Qamzani (77 kg) harvested the silver medals. 

It is to be mentioned that Syria’s wrestling junior team harvested ten medals (three gold, five silver and two bronze) in the same Championship.
