Syria wins one gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals at International School in Informatics “Junior”, Russia

Syrian Science Olympiad team participating in the International School in Informatics camp for junior in Russia, won a gold medal, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals.

The camp was held from July 1st to 7th via the Internet.

Excellence and Creativity Authority stated in a statement to SANA reporter on Tuesday that 47 teams, representing 12 countries, including Russia and China, participated in the camp.

The Authority noted that participation was limited to students under the age of 16 with two teams of two levels, beginner “B” and advanced “A”.

The authority said that the Syrian team gained a gold medal by Beshr Joukhadar at level A in the marathon competition, in addition to four silver medals by other participants.

The Authority added that the team won a bronze medal in the Programming Contest.

Syrian national team at level B won three silver medals in the marathon competition, as well as to three bronze medals in the marathon competitions, the authority added.
